Lisa McInerney wins the Baileys Prize

  Congratulations to Lisa McInerney, who has just won the 2016 Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction with her first novel The Glorious Heresies. At an awards ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall at London’s Southbank Centre chair of judges Margaret Mountford presented McInerney with the £30,000 prize and the Bessie, a limited edition bronze figurine. Debut novelist Madeline Miller wins 2012 Orange Prize
