Hundreds of journalists are covering the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s tour of Australia and New Zealand right now – and I’m so glad I’m not one of them. As well as having to turn their hand to an awful lot of fashion writing (knowing their Alexander McQueen from their Roksanda Ilincic is key) this time round they’ve got to cover nine-month-old Prince George’s progress too. Prince George’s christening day

It’s Prince George’s christening in London today – and the whole world is hoping for a glimpse of the royal baby. A hardy band of well-wishers spent a rain-lashed night camped outside St James’s Palace (the ceremony will be held in the little known Chapel Royal there) and the photographers are out in droves.
